Everyone has bad days from time to time, some more frequently than others. When the bad days pile up, becoming burnt out is right on the horizon. Being burnt out is something serious and should not be taken lightly.
I used to work in a toxic environment where I worked painfully long days and was only allowed one day off a week. I was always burnt out and it became the only feeling that I had. Maybe you have worked in a place like this before. Once I left that job; I found a career that had normal hours that I loved.
Taking care of myself both mentally, emotionally, and physically became a huge priority in my life. I have created a list of self-care things that I do whenever I feel overwhelmed, stressed, or just overall exhausted. I will share them with you in hopes that it might spark some inspiration for you.
With the world in a pandemic, now is the time to stay home, sit back, and relax. Here are some things you can do to relax at home:
Bake some tasty treats
Try out a new recipe
Relax outside and soak up some sunrays
Take a bath using bath salts and a bath bomb
Use a Hair Mask
Use a Face Mask
Drink some Iced Coffee (Check out my latest post for my easy iced coffee recipe)
Take a day off of work if you’re feeling burnt out.
